Founded in 1954 and located in the Serra de São Mamede Natural Park, the Portalegre Winery has distinguished itself by the quality and originality of its wines.

The great differentiation of its wines comes from the use of grapes from very old vineyards, over 70 years old, which are at an altitude between 600 and 700 meters in the Serra de São Mamede and the maintenance of an ancestral wine culture.
